The nurse types “acute” and sees the gaps kept for pain

Today: a patient in pain calls and the nurse hunts for a spotIn the morning a patient with a swelling calls and wants to come in today. The nurse pages through the calendar looking for the reserve kept for pain while the patient waits on the phone.

How it works

  1. The nurse types a sentence with the word acute into the search, for example “AKUTNÍ 30 MINUT” (acute, 30 minutes).
  2. Zuboklik looks only at the gaps kept for acute cases and lists them in red.
  3. One is picked and the patient is booked. Ordinary free slots are not offered here; the same sentence without the word acute finds those.

What you do

Nothing, just add the word acute to the sentence.

Common objections
How is this different from the ordinary search?
The ordinary search finds free time. With the word acute it finds only the gaps the practice keeps for pain, so no time meant for other patients gets taken.
What if no acute gap is left?
Zuboklik says there is nothing in that range. The nurse can search a day further out, or book the patient through the ordinary search.
Where do the acute gaps come from?
They are created every day on their own, following the practice settings. Whatever is not used is released to everyone else.
Nurse screen: word search “AKUTNÍ 30 MINUT” (acute, 30 minutes) and the red acute gaps it found
