Today: pain throws off the whole day
A patient in pain has their own gap in the morning
At eight in the morning a patient rings with a swelling and the calendar is full until evening. The nurse squeezes him between two appointments and the day runs behind from then on. Lunch happens an hour late.

How it works
- Set how many pain gaps you want and at what hours.
- Every morning the gaps are waiting in the calendar.
- Whatever is unused by the start of the day is released to ordinary booking. Holding them forever makes no sense.
What you do
Set once how many you want and at what hours.
Common objections
- Do we lose booked hours this way?
- An unused gap is released to everyone else, so it stays free only when nobody wants it.
- How many gaps are about right?
- Start with one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The occupancy map then shows whether to add more.
- Can anybody grab the gap?
- It is offered only to a patient whose stated symptoms count as acute.
