The patient sees which days are emptier
The patient picks a day that suits them and runs into a full one. They try again and again, or ring to ask whether you have anything sooner. The nurse does the searching for them.
How it works
- Each day shows how many appointments are free.
- The patient picks a day with room and sees the actual times at once.
- Only the ratio is shown, never who is booked. Patient names are never visible online.
What you do
Nothing, it is worked out on its own.
Common objections
- Does it not give away how full we are?
- Only the ratio of free places on that day is shown. No names, no reasons for the visit.
- What if the whole week is empty?
- The patient sees it and books sooner. For the surgery that beats an empty chair.
- Does a holiday count into it?
- A closed day is not offered to the patient at all.
