You decide which messages go out
Messaging is treated as all or nothing. The surgery does not want to swamp patients, so it switches nothing on. It loses the reminder that would have helped.
How it works
- In the settings you see the message types one by one.
- You switch on only the ones you want sent.
- You pay for messages sent, so a type left off costs nothing.
What you do
Switch on only what you want sent.
Common objections
- Can we keep reminders only?
- Yes. Switch the other types off and only what you chose goes out.
- What about the verification message?
- Without it a new patient cannot sign in. Switching it off stops new sign-ins.
- Can it be changed later?
- At any time. The change applies to messages from then on.
