Edit an appointment without leaving the calendar
A patient at the desk wants a later time and one more thing added. The nurse leaves the calendar for the patient record and back again. By the time she returns she has forgotten what was to change.
How it works
- The nurse taps the appointment in the calendar.
- In one window she changes the time, the reason for the visit and the note.
- The length recalculates itself. An appointment cannot be moved into a taken place.
What you do
Nothing.
Common objections
- Does it overwrite a length we set by hand?
- Changing the reason recalculates the length, and you can write over it.
- Does the patient hear about the change?
- After a move they get an SMS, if you have that type switched on.
- Does the change leave a trace?
- Yes. The history shows who changed the appointment and when.
