Covering for a colleague, marked in the calendar
On Thursday the surgery is seeing patients for a colleague who is away. The dentist knows; the nurse doing the booking does not. On Thursday it is explained twice.
How it works
- You mark the day you are covering for a colleague.
- You add a note saying for whom and what it means.
- The team sees it in the calendar. Cover means you are taking that care on.

- A patient from your records can, the same as on any other day.
- Can cover span several days?
- Yes, you mark each day you are covering.
