Today: an empty chair nobody pays for
A missed-appointment fee the patient agreed to in advance
A patient does not call and does not come. The chair stands empty for half an hour, although others wanted that time. The surgery has no way to deal with it, so it lets it go — and tomorrow it happens again.

How it works
- You switch the fee on and set the amount.
- The patient agrees to it while booking, and the agreement is stored with the appointment.
- If they do not call and do not come, an SMS with a QR payment goes out. You may waive it at any time; the decision is yours.
A surgery may charge the fee only where the patient agreed to it in advance; the agreement to the amount is stored with the appointment. Zuboklik does not pursue the fee, runs no proceedings and never receives the money. A specimen consent is on the page about missed-appointment fees.Last updated 22 September 2026

Common objections
- Will it not put patients off?
- You switch the fee on voluntarily and waive it with one click. Most surgeries use it as an understanding, not as income.
- Does it apply to an appointment cancelled in advance?
- No. Cancel in time and there is no fee — the waiting list offers that appointment on.
- Do we have to watch anything for this?
- The nurse only marks that the patient did not come. Payment is marked off on its own from the bank notice.
